On the morning of our wedding day I discovered she had never had a crumpet. I can love someone who has not eaten a crumpet. Of course I can. But should you marry someone who has managed to keep that fact from you almost until the ceremony? That sounds accusatory. I mean, should you marry someone when it turns out you don’t know them as well as you thought? The worst part was, she didn’t seem to think it was serious. In fact, she got quite angry.
